BANKVEREIN WERTHER AG LAUNCHES CREDIT CARD FOR MOTORCYCLISTS WITH FIRST DATA
Bikercard24 Combines Consumer Finance With Benefits Tailored To Customers' Need

First Data Corporation, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, and its client Bankverein Werther AG, a private bank in Germany, have introduced Bikercard24, a new card offering aimed at motorcyclists. The cards incorporate open loop prepaid and MasterCard functionality and can be used to pay for goods and services wherever MasterCard is accepted. The cards also leverage First Data’s Picture Card Portal and features five different motorbike motifs. First Data is delivering a range of services for the programme, from handling card applications to providing technical processing and customer contact centre services.

Through the Bikercard24 MasterCard, customers gain access to a targeted package of benefits from Bikercard24, an association providing tailored marketing information for motorcyclists. For an annual fee of €49, individuals sixteen years and older can enjoy these benefits through a prepaid card. The same benefits are available through a credit card for €59 for users aged at least 18 years. Both products can be ordered online on www.bikercard24.de.
