First Data Signs Card Issuing Agreement with noa bank

Frankfurt, November 10, 2009

First Data, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing services, has signed a new five-year processing agreement with noa bank, in which First Data will support the bank’s launch of its new MasterCard charge card, prepaid card and corporate card portfolios.

Under the terms of the agreement, First Data will provide a range of issuing and processing services including card production, technical processing, customer contact centre services and fraud management solutions. noa bank will have online access to First Data’s card issuing and processing solution, enabling it to carry out selected customer management functions, quickly and easily.

"For us, it was essential that these services could be implemented in the shortest possible time and with flexible and solution-oriented consultation that would align with the special needs of noa bank.”

From November 2009, noa bank will enter the German financial services sector and will offer customers a range of innovative finance and payment solutions, competitive terms and comprehensive, complimentary services. Customers will be able to decide on the investment fields for their money – whether it be in their region or in the environment, health or culture related sectors.
