First Data supports Nordea Bank Germany in implementing
new MasterCard business card programmes

Frankfurt, March 30, 2009

Nordea Bank Germany has extended its product portfolio for corporate clients by introducing two new MasterCard branded credit cards: ‘Standard’ and ‘Gold’. First Data, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing services, will provide technology support to the bank, delivering services ranging from handling initial cardholder applications to providing card processing and contact centre services. Both card products will be equipped to EMV Integrated Circuit Card (IC card) specifications, a security standard jointly developed by Europay, MasterCard and Visa, that enhances payment secu-rity and helps to prevent card misuse at the point of sale.

In contrast to the Standard business card, the Gold version features a range of travel related insurance services such as overseas medical, accident and travel insurance, as well as vehi-cle accident and breakdown cover abroad, travellers' third party car insurance for rental vehi-cles and travellers' personal-liability insurance. The card is cost free in the first year. After that, fees are applied according to card usage.
