KARSTADTQUELLE BANK IMPLEMENTS
IVR-BASED INQUIRY FUNCTIONALITY FROM FIRST DATA

First Data Corp., a global leader in electronic commerce and payment services, is providing KarstadtQuelle Bank AG with an IVR-based (Interactive Voice Response; computer-controlled speech dialogue) inquiry capability that enables the bank’s cardholders to query  the current balances and credit limits on their prepaid and credit cards.

The IVR-based inquiry capability is the latest advance in functionality delivered through a five year business relationship between First Data and KarstadtQuelle Bank. This innovative solution enhances customer service and is available to customers worldwide through one service number.
